Community Responsiveness

The CCPG is supportive of a more proactive exploration of Maori responsiveness and this is consistent with activities of all Government stakeholders and many independent service providers.

In addition to Maori responsiveness there is a growing volume of activity in health that is responding to increasing needs of:

• Pacific communities,
• Refugee and New Migrant communities, and
• Communities in High Deprivation areas of Canterbury

Partnership Health Canterbury PHO has been a leading proponent of responsiveness across these areas and there are some potentially significant resources within a much more connected health sector that Community Pharmacy could partnership with and leverage off for the benefits of our shared patients/customers.
