In Canterbury we have been fortunate to be able to develop, in conjunction with the PSNZ College, a revised CCPG specific 'MTA Standards Mapping Tool - for MUR accredited pharmacists'.  This tool includes references to the CCPG MTA documentation used to provide the DHB contracted Medication Management Service.

Please contact a CCPG Pharmacist to obtain orientation to our service and to these documents.

Note: that the CCPG is required to provide the College with a signed 'CCPG MTA accreditation induction assessment and declaration form' for pharmacists using these CCPG specific documents.

CCPG recommends those pharmacists either just considering, or those who are in the process of, becoming MTA accredited join the CCPG MTA Peer Group.  This group offers peer support for those becoming accredited, provides a learning environment and updates on the current CCPG MTA service.  To contact the MTA Peer Group co-ordinator refer to the 'Peer Groups' section.

Medicines Use Review (MUR)

Medicine Use Review training is now available through the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand College (PSNZ) via an online course.

A CCPG pharmacist can assist with your accreditation case study if required.

Once accredited a CCPG pharmacist will arrange induction to the CCPG MUR process and outline the documentation required.
